The Screening Process

During the screening process you will have a personal counselor making sure you understand the requirements and testing involved. From a background check and credit check, to all psychological and medical testing, this detailed screening is done prior to a match to reduce emotional stress on you and the parents-to-be.

But you’re not the only one being screened, our intended parents are required to complete background checks, psychological screening, and partake in counseling as well. All the screening is completed at no cost to you.

Matching & Legal Process

The glorious birth aside, this step is one of the most exciting moments in your journey. When you see the look in the eyes of the parents-to-be and truly understand how important you are. Count on being matched with that perfect family who share your values and is invested in the type of relationship you want.

Once the match is agreed to, the legal phase begins with contracts being signed between you and the intended parents regarding parental rights, the birth plan, and your future relationship. You will have legal representation at no cost to ensure you feel comfortable with any and all decisions presented to you.

Fertility Process

There is a flurry of activity at this stage, from meeting the intended parent’s physician to working with the fertility center in preparation for the embryo transfer and surrogacy pregnancy. Everything you do at this phase is about ensuring the transfer outcome is as successful as possible. Your personal counselor will facilitate and coordinate appointments, cover expenses, and answer any questions you may have.

Sharing the Gift of Life

When a pregnancy is conceived through in vitro fertilization, although the beautiful newborn doesn’t know it, there are a lot of doctors’ appointments, check-ins with your intended parents, insurance matters, and administration processing. Your personal counselor and other professionals are here to help you each step of the way—from important emotional support to coordinating appointment and prepping for the big day.


